Privacy Policy

Effective 8 November 2026

The short version

This website has no sign-up, no contact form, no cookies and no analytics. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email, and we use it to reply to you.

Who we are

Thinkerly is an independent software studio based in North Carolina, United States. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Thinkerly. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@thinkerly.xyz.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at thinkerly.xyz. The apps we build, for clients or ourselves, have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

Information we collect

How we use it

We don't sell your information, rent it out or use it for advertising.

Legal basis

If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us, on taking steps toward a contract when you ask us about a project, and on legal obligations for records such as invoices.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run the studio, such as our email and hosting providers, and only as much as they need to provide that service. We'll also share information if the law requires it.

Where it's stored

We're based in the United States, and the services we use may store information there. If you contact us from outside the US, your message will be transferred to and handled in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as the conversation or any resulting project needs them, plus any period the law requires for business records. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Just email hello@thinkerly.xyz. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
